Letters to the Editor
Behave America
(December 17, 2003)
The way the United States of America is treating the captured Iraqi
President Saddam Hussein is deplorable. Even if they had to show
Saddam to people around the world, they could have done so in a
more dignified manner.
Also the way the U.S. President George W. Bush is saying that Saddam
has murdered many people is a classic case of pointing a finger
at someone and having three fingers pointing back at yourself. Perhaps
President Bush needs to be reminded that it was the United States
of America that is the only country in the world so far that has
used nuclear weapons on innocent civilians during World War II.
That aside, now that Saddam has been caught, the U.S. has no further
excuse to remain in Iraq and should leave at once.
